Kyle Young

Kyle Young

Kyle Young has more than 10 years of investment management experience. As a CFP and Vice President at Merrill Lynch, he built his wealth management practice to over $125m in AUM before splitting off to focus his time on Young Strategic Ventures. 

 

Having held multiple leadership roles, Kyle prides himself in his ability to put his partners and investors in the best position to succeed. He has invested and advised in over fifteen early-stage startups across various industries and syndicated over $15m through equity and mezzanine debt in the real estate sector across over 20 projects. Kyle is an expert at finding and executing on creative value-add opportunities that may be hidden to most. 

 

His ability to provide strong risk adjusted returns through various asset classes and market cycles has given his partners and investors the confidence they demand when investing in the private markets. 

Breanna Powers Kirk

Strategic Advisor

Breanna Powers Kirk has more than 20 years of experience supporting leaders navigating high-impact roles. Her clients include entrepreneurs, college coaches, and applicants to graduate schools of business. 

Breanna is an investor and advisor to founders of early stage startups in the real estate, tech, finance, athletics, and media industries. She serves as a mentor with Techstars NYC and Techstars Sports Accelerator, powered by Indy. Techstars is one of the largest pre-seed investors in the world, investing in more than 3,300 early stage companies with a cumulative market cap of over $96 billion. 

In her work with NCAA athletic programs, Breanna has worked within the Big 12, Ivy League, A10, and America East conferences, among others, and has presented to the McDonald’s All-American Committee and at the NCAA Women’s Final Four conference.

Breanna co-founded Highgate MBA Admissions Consulting, an education advisory firm helping applicants to Ivy League business schools differentiate themselves within highly selective applicant pools. Over 21 years, more than 95% of her clients won admission to their first choice school (usually Harvard Business School). 

Earlier in her career, Breanna served as an admissions committee member at Dartmouth College’s Tuck School and Columbia Business School.

Steven Gibbs

Steven Gibbs is an innovative strategic thinker, entrepreneur, investor and advisor. He has started and invested in numerous success stories across the sports & entertainment industry, real estate spectrum and the technology sector. Among his first ventures is co-founding Zero Gravity Basketball and turning the company from $24,000 sales in year one to over $16.2 million in gross sales eight years later. Zero Gravity Basketball was the highest valued youth sports company to be sold in the United States.

 

Steven also co-founded KGB real estate ventures that has grown by over 800% in its first two years and now operates hundreds of real estate units across the Northeast. He is also eager to invest and advise in the small business world, and has holdings in over twenty five growing companies across various sectors.

 

In addition to his success in the sports marketing and real estate industries, Steven has a passion for sharing success with other motivated individuals that want to continue to grow their portfolios and professional success.

Gregory Kristof

Greg has built and sold numerous businesses, growing them from the ground up. In 2010, he co-founded Zero Gravity Basketball, the largest grassroots basketball company in the world, with more than 224 events annually in 16 states.

 

His most recent role is Chief Development Officer at 3STEP Sports, where he has been a key member of a team that helped take the company from $8M to $300M+ in top-line revenue in 4 years. He has overseen the event footprint expansion from 7 to 42 states.

 

Beyond 3STEP he has assisted with business growth at companies primarily in the tech, sports, and real estate sectors including: Adidas, Hidden Hemlock, Hopetown Real Estate, KBG Real Estate, Orfiks/Circulate, Pistol Lake, Playeasy, ShotTracker and more.

His understanding of business development and fostering cross-industry relationships has been a cornerstone of enabling the partners he works with through 6SC.
